Dr Katie Byard is a Clinical Psychologist by training, and co-founder and Managing Director of Recolo UK Ltd which provides community neuropsychological rehabilitation to young people and their families and people in their wider community. Katie has over 20 years of specialised experience in this clinical field and has been published in peer-reviewed articles and several books and speaks nationally and internationally on child neuropsychological rehabilitation. Within a neuropsychological frame, she is a passionate advocate of the need to hold a developmental and systemic perspective during rehabilitation to address the needs of a developing child with brain injury and their family. Katie is committed to the development of child neuropsychological rehabilitation that is of the highest quality and that is shaped by continual learning and the integration of professional insight and lived experience of young people with brain injury and their families.
