Biography for Laween Saadi

My name is Laween Saadi, and I am the Link Worker / Rehabilitation Assistant at The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity. I’m delighted to be part of the ABIL Committee and I look forward to raising awareness of acquired brain injury (ABI) within London and nationally, with a view to improving the lives and services available to survivors. ABI is a hidden disability, and every ninety seconds someone is admitted into a UK hospital with an ABI. I hope to use my influence and personal experience to make a difference. I enjoy attending ABI conferences and I’ve also worked as an Office Administrator at Headway the brain injury association and maintain strong links with them.
